Dive Compressors

Dive Compressors: in September 2006 Aquasea sold Shiprock Dive. The decision of which portable dive compressor to use ourselves and for our friends as well as display a model for sale has made for some detailed investigation by myself. Our requirements included size weight single phase (or 3 phase or petrol or diesel) 4 stage compressor, pressure relief valves built in, filtration system, ability to handle 300 bar tanks (when necessary). I finally decided the choice was between 2 companies.

I compared the IDE TT 100 series to the Bauer Junior II and I’m convinced the IDE was the winner. I’m so impressed in the unit, I guarantee that should anyone buy a unit from me and have a problem I will send him my unit  free of charge as a loan unit until we have rectified the customers problem. These compressors can easily handle 330 bar fills which we require for the 2 of us with our specialist dive tanks purchased for the ultra small size etc, and also setup with twin whips for faster filling of multiple tanks.

German made IDE  -  TT 100 Series Air Compressors

As you can see from the above 2 photos, they are streamlined in appearance and functionality. Simple to pick up and move, easy for servicing maintenance etc.
They do not ‘creep’ or ‘walk’ like some compressors when you run them.

As you can see we love deep diving, wrecks caves gutters channels, we won’t accept air nitrox trimix unless it passes our own very high standards. When you’re down there, second best just won’t do.

AQUASEA is pleased to supply the following IDE German manufactured air compressor models:

Electric Single Phase.      Electric 3 Phase.      Diesel Driven.      Petrol Driven.

The IDE compressor is the lightest in its class, no other compressor outputs more air than the IDE. It was created with the recreational scuba diver in mind who wanted fast fills at a time that suited him because time was too valuable to lose trying to find a dive shop. Time when your having fun is precious. Whether a diver on a boat yacht or barge, just hook up your tank and away you go. Typical fill capacity of a TT 100 is 100litres per minute, or 3.5cfm.
